What an amazing weekend!!!! Full on action ….

One month has gone by since after the storm hit Cannes – and the city is already on its feet!! Not that it was ever down! – hours following the storm that hit the city on the 3rd October the city was full on with the clean up, the City Hall “Marie” had everything under control,  MIPCOM was starting  (the Worlds entertainment content market) with over 13000 participants! And they could only walk by and admire the Cannes attitude! Solidarity. Did the city come to a stand still?? NO – without emails, no credit card readers working, shops & restaurants closed due to damage – the city still worked its magic and ensured that MIPCOM was a great success!! BRAVO to the “Marie” and all those involved with clean up! – as they say the “the party must go on” and it did!!

…and just as the show was closing down, the city is back on its feet to welcome the second largest Marathon in France (http://www.marathon06.com/2015/) – and once again the skies are blue, with again..the temperatures creeping into the 20’s.  Over 42km of perfect conditions for all the runners – and all the families and friends who lined the streets to encourage the runners!

Sunday night – sitting in front of the TV – finally relaxing – and for once I was looking forward to MONDAY!!!
