The apero (L’apéro in french) is an early evening drink after shopping, beaching or any other thing you might be doing. You normally have it between 6pm and 9pm, and there’s no fixed length for an apero. It can last any where from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Sometimes, it’s just a quick drink with olives or nuts. But most of the time, it’s much more than than. Often many bars offering mouth watering nibbles free with your drinks, and its always exciting to test new places and find a favourite.
In Cannes, you are spoiled with opportunities for places to go. As a matter of fact, you can go from place to place all evening and end up saving your whole dinner budget just by nibbling!
